Porter Construction Awarded General Contractor for Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company

Porter Construction of Woodbine, MD, is proud to announce that it has been selected as the General Contractor for the new Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company facility.
The new facility will feature 24,000 square feet of space which will include a 250-seat social hall, room to accommodate 16-18 firefighters and more indoor parking for apparatus. In addition to its more spacious indoor amenities, the building site will offer 134 exterior parking spaces on its 8 acre parcel and will continue to be the evacuation shelter for Lisbon Elementary School.
In order to come in on time and budget, a project of this magnitude with all of the numerous trades required requires strict adherence to processes and schedules that only a proven and experienced General Contractor can provide.
